Baggage Transfer

Baggage transfer is often asked about on the Southern Upland Way. Some of the SUW accommodation providers below are happy to provide this service, and we are very grateful for their continued support. They tend to have extensive knowledge of the SUW. What more could you want? Fed, bed, and your luggage dealt with. Between them, they now cover the entire route.

In areas where an accommodation provider cannot assist due to unforeseen circumstances, a local taxi could be arranged to carry your luggage, allowing you the freedom to bring all of life’s luxuries, and not have to carry them.

Here is a list of known accommodation providers, west to east, who offer such services, and the areas they are prepared to cover.

Nadav’s Shed can accommodate up to 3 guests and a pet. Nadav’s Shed has basic amenities that include a Porta Potti, a kettle, electricity and free WiFi. Guests have to use their own mats and sleeping bags. A small sofa bed is also available, with bedding provided at an extra fee.
